He feels uninvited

But he has been to music festivals

Even a few surreal moments

In Disney World

But now it’s the recession

He cannot move

He wants to run wild

This will explode

This will have to

The job search

Is really killing him

Then he calls her to say

“Another frustrating day

Dealing with the Human Resources

Of God Knows Where”

But then he realizes

That maybe he doesn’t want

To work

At all

                To hate you solidly

And make you realize

That I may not

Live up

To your potential

Then realize

No! No! No!

It’s the other way around

    You’ll have to

       Anyway

Have you not been young once?

At that age, the wait is long

What if we never grow up

    Looking back, I’m not sure if it’s still my kind of fun

I realized that I’ve been weak from the get go

Friends, family , teammates

Tend to change

‘I don’t want to be with anyone

At the moment’

You don’t need to be

Your platoon is indestructible

No need to make up

It will never break up”
